Bethel, Maine – For Immediate Release- Saturday, August 17th 2013 Western Maine Cash Mob, organized by W.J. Wheeler Insurance Agency, met at the Telstar parking lot. A total of 32 mobbers anxiously waited to hear where they would be shopping. Armed with their $20 bills everyone mobbed True North Adventureware in Bethel, Maine.
The mobbers spent a total of $1100.00 in less than an hour, helping stimulate the local economy while having a blast with other community members. Not only does the Cash Mob help the business being mobbed that one time but it also introduces new people that may have never gone to the store before and will hopefully return again.
Afterward, everyone gathered in the parking lot for the After Mob Party, where they enjoyed Kick’n Chicken Wraps, Turkey and Brie, Roast Beef and Horseradish sandwiches, coleslaw and Iced Tea made by Foothills Grille & Catering Company and generously donated by NorthEast Bank. Door prizes were given away during the party. They included a Life is Good bag donated by NorthEast Bank and purchased at True North Adventureware, coolers from Oxford Federal Credit Union, Socks from True North Adventureware, and gift certificates.
