Northeast Retirement Solutions Celebrates Grand Opening in Downtown Auburn
(Auburn, Maine) – Northeast Retirement Solutions, a locally owned and operated financial and retirement planning firm, celebrated their official grand opening Tuesday among clients, friends, and city officials.
Located on the sixth floor of 2 Great Falls Plaza in downtown Auburn, the financial and retirement planning office provides retirement planning strategies, comprehensive financial advice, wealth management services, and more.
Having opened their new location in August, staff has worked diligently building new contacts in the community.
“Individually, we have all been associated with local banking institutions for the last seven years,” said co-founder and co-owner Matthew Simard. “It’s only been in the last few months that we decided to spin off and create our own company outside of the banks umbrella.”
With over 35 years of experience between the three employees, Simard highlighted the personal aspect of the business.
“As a small business we recognize that it’s the quality of our service that separates us from the competition,” said Simard. “People can get thousands of financial reports off the internet for free these days and that’s fine. But we have the knowledge, expertise, and proven success of helping hundreds of our neighbors and customers right here in this community.”
“Our entire staff lives in the greater Lewiston-Auburn area,” added Simard. “We are at the grocery stores and restaurants. We have a presence. That’s why we feel confident that with every decision we provide, we can look our neighbor in the eyes with integrity knowing we will be held accountable.”
Stressing the importance of maintaining a physical office with consistent hours for clients to visit, Simard says it’s the personalized approach of providing customized guidance for a client’s portfolio that works best.
“We recognize that individuals and families sacrifice for decades in order to make retirement feasible,” said Simard. “In this highly volatile market we’ve experienced over the last few years, people want to know someone will be in the office Friday morning with an answer if they have a question. They have been held accountable their entire professional career and they expect the same when it comes to their finances.”
Utilizing a strict investment discipline when customizing diversified portfolios for clients, Northeast Retirement Solutions seeks to preserve wealth and provide income over an extended number of years.
“Many of our more established clients have concerns about maintaining a certain level of comfort in retirement,” said Simard. “On the other hand, some of our younger clients are simply hoping to retire one day. Our mission is to not only make retirement obtainable, but enjoyable.”
